About ME

Maine became home when I came to Unity College at 18—and I never looked back. My spouse, Emily, was born in Belfast and grew up on a farm in Montville. When we were expecting our first child, we bought our home in Belfast and put down roots for good. Today, at 40, we’re raising two kids, and I’m determined to keep Belfast affordable, welcoming, and full of opportunity for the next generation.

For more than two decades, I’ve built my career in public service and community development. As Executive Director of Our Town Belfast, I worked with neighbors, small businesses, and community partners to strengthen our downtown and celebrate what makes Belfast unique. During COVID, I helped local businesses adapt and survive—including supporting the creation of the Keep The Faith Fund. After that, I worked on federal and state policy—listening to people across the state and helping connect our towns to the resources they need.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Unity College and my Master's of Business from Husson University. I've served as a volunteer on the Maine Community Foundation's Waldo County Committee and the City's Pedestrian Biking Committee.

I’m ready to bring my experience home—because our community deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and gets things done.
